Q: How can I play Anime (.mkv) videos on PS Vita with subtitles?

I mostly download 720p Animes that has subtitles and convert them to .mp4 for PS Vita. I have been doing this for quite a while because I want to watch animes on the go. There are 2 major problems that annoys me. I have solved 1 of the problems but, I need to somehow embed the subtitle into the video. I don’t know much about subtitles, so any information will help. How do you convert a video with proper subtitles?

Overall, the PlayStation Vita is not only the most advanced portable gaming system ever made, but also a great media player for watching movies. If you’ve got some MKV files from Anime or somewhere else, you may want to transfer them to PS Vita for playback on the go. But due to format limitations(PS Vita only supports videos h.264/MPEG-4 codec), you can find it impossilbe to play MKV files on PS Vita, not mentioned to play them with subtitles. Don’t fret! First of all, in order to download Blu-ray movies to PS Vita, we need to rip and convert Blu-ray to PS Vita compatible file format such as H.264 MP4 along with some help from the third-party tool – Pavtube Blu-ray Ripper for Mac.
