This is simply the movie industry’s latest attempt to sugar coat Digital Rights Management(DRM), which prevents you from using them on unauthorized devices. Unfortunately, the Android devices have not get a license to play DRM contents, which means digital copy movies will even play on Android tablet or handset. It is a pleasure that 20th Century Fox is aiming to change all that and will be bringing digital copy downloads to Android but I didn’t hear much about it.

The reasoning behind Android’s omission in the digital movie realm can be speculated and theorized till DRM death. That’s where ChewTune Mac (Alternative Windows Version) comes in. As an easy-to-use yet top-ranking DRM removal software for Mac users, it supports handling proctected movies, TV shows from iTunes and Blu-ray/DVD digital copy videos that have been transferred to iTunes. First, the most important piece of the equation is that you have a iTunes Movie DRM Decoder hooked to your Mac. As you see, most of the TV episodes, movies, and music videos from iTunes are protected by using Apple’s FairPlay DRM copyright protection. DRM won’t stop you putting iTunes files to the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, but it stops non-authorized devices(unfortunately the Android devices have not get a license to play DRM contents) playing iTunes movies. Of course, most of you are not about to pay ridiculous prices to buy movies and TV shows for Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 you already own on iTunes. Instead, we’ll just remove DRM from iTunes and convert iTunes M4V movies to Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 friendly format, for instance, the h.264 encoded mp4.
