The design is Identical to the previous version of Apple TV, but the third-generation box has a new interface, and new specs – namely support for 1080p. For the first time, this means the Apple TV 3rd generation isn’t just the gold standard of streaming movies, but a contender against the King of All Physical Media, the Blu-ray. Here I’m not talking about Apple 1080p and Blu-ray. I’m sharing my experience to help those who wanna watch Blu-ray movies with Apple TV 3. Besides, I also share something how to get Blu-ray’s Full-HD 1080p quality.
Of course, I’m not about to pay iTunes’ ridiculous prices to watch the movies and TV shows I already own on Blu-rays.
