The HP TouchPad comes with a stunning 9.7-inch display with 1024×768 pixels which supports up to 1080p video playback. It can be used as a fantastic portable player for watching movies. If you have some videos in your iTunes library, why not transfer them to the HP Tablet and have a better movie entertainment experience on the go?

As we all know, the movies/TV shows purchased from iTunes store are locked by Apple’s FairPlay DRM protection and can only play on Apple products like iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, QuickTime, etc. In order to play iTunes video on HP TouchPad, you may have to strip DRM from iTunes movies and convert iTunes movies to HP TouchPad playable video formats.

Convert, Transfer and Play iTunes movies on HP TouchPad

1. Add iTunes movies to the software

Launch the Mac iTunes Video DRM Converter and load the iTunes video files to the program for converting.

Note: To use ChewTune, you’re request to Set iTunes to 32bit if you are running Mac OS X Lion and run the program and type in password of your Mac account as it requires.

2. Select the output video format for TouchPad

HP TouchPad well supports H.264 MP4. Here you can click “Mobile Device > HP TouchPad(*.mp4)” as output. You can also change video resolution, encoder, frame rate, etc. for better viewing on TouchPad. Below is the best format setting for TouchPad per my experience, just take it as reference:

Video
Codec- H.264
Resolution- 1280×720 (HD)
Bitrate- 1500/2000kbps
Framerate- 25fps

Audio
Codec- AAC
Sampling rate- 48khz
Bitrate- 128kbps
Channel- stereo

3. Start to remove iTunes DRM and convert iTunes to HP TouchPad MP4

When all is OK, click the “Convert” button to convert iTunes files to HP TouchPad supported MP4. When the conversion finishes, you can click “Open” to locate the DRM-free MP4 video files. And then you can simply sync the converted iTunes videos to your HP TouchPad for playing anytime, anywehere.
